I really do believe that Texas is the most beautiful state in the nation, and when I think of how much I love and enjoy living in Austin TX, I can’t help but appreciate all the smaller towns and neighborhoods surrounding Austin. There is a classic historic beauty that each of these small towns offer to the overall love and pride that I feel for Austin. Austin is a unique melting pot of modern and contemporary glass and steel sky scrapers, with long Texas highways in the background littered with the most beautiful wildflowers in a multitude of colors, leading out to large pastures, pristine lakes, and both established and newer estates and ranch homes. What is there not to love about Central Texas? There is something here for everyone’s taste! Whether you want the small home town feeling you get from Bastrop or Kyle, or the luxury waterfront lake side living in Lakeway or Lago Vista. Maybe you prefer the city lifestyle of Downtown in a new condo such as The Spring or The 360 Condos or even a historic mansion in Pemberton Heights or Hyde Park. There are many options when it comes to Austin and Central Texas living. I personally love it all… I love living in Downtown Austin and enjoying all that the city has to offer… the amazing food, music, nightlife, and shopping. But I also have to get my country time in as well, and I do so by taking a short drive out to see family and friends in Bastrop and spend time horse back riding and watching a brilliant Texas sunset. And I’m never one to pass up a relaxing weekend on beautiful Lake Travis.
